Timberland has linked up with Tokyo-based label The Apartment to create an ocean-traversing Field Boot, dubbed "The Old Man and the Sea."Toasting to the 15th anniversary of The Apartment's Kichijoji shop, the silhouette is inspired by Ernest Hemingway's 1952 novella, The Old Man and the Sea, with references to the original Field Boot, born in 1983.Nodding to popular East Coast styles in the early 2000s, the design features an all-leather midsole with a color-switching pattern.
